Jason E. Smith, DPM

Dr. Jason Smith is a leader in the Podiatric field, specializing in all aspects of care involving the foot and ankle.

After graduating from Brigham Young University, Dr.Smith earned his degree from Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine. He served as Chief

Resident in Foot and Ankle reconstruction at the Northern Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, CO before coming to Montana. He worked at St. Peter’s Hospital for 2 years before opening the Elkhorn Foot & Ankle Clinic. Dr. Smith’spractice includes: simple and complex foot and ankle surgery; all aspects of conservative care, including injections and custom orthotics; minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery; foot and ankle trauma care and treatment of pediatric foot and ankle disorders. He boasts of marrying way above himself, having the best staff in Helena, and sporting 4 bright and entertaining children. Dr. Smith comes from Idaho, while his wife is a native Montanan, who was born and raised in the Helena area. Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors. He has volunteered his medical services with the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project in Merida, Mexico and Mother’s without Borders in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.
