Dr. Smith’s Practice Includes:
- Simple and complex foot and ankle surgery,
- All aspects of conservative care,
- Including injections and custom orthotics,
- Minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery,
- Foot and ankle trauma care,
- Treatment of pediatric foot and ankle disorders.
He boasts of marrying way above himself, having the best staff in Helena, and sporting five bright and entertaining children. Dr. Smith comes from Idaho, while his wife is a native Montanan, who was born and raised in the Helena area.
Dr. Smith enjoys spending time with his family in the great outdoors. He has volunteered his medical services with the Yucatan Crippled Children’s Project in Merida, Mexico and Mother’s without Borders in Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

Kristen is a loving mother to three bright and active children who keep her busy with their volleyball and football games, softball matches, and dance recitals.
Despite her busy schedule, she is committed to providing compassionate and holistic care to her patients, as she intimately understands the challenges of recovering from a broken foot herself. Kristen is a dedicated team member who strives to make a positive impact on her patients' lives.
